Singer Mika Singh detained in UAE for allegedly harassing 17-year-old girl, details inside

One of the most popular singers in Bollywood, Mika Singh on Thursday was detained by authorities in UAE after a minor girl alleged that he harassed her. 

A complaint has been lodged against the singer for harassing a 17-year-old girl.

After the accusation, Mika Singh has been detained and was being questioned by the local authorities, a member of his team told news agency ANI.

The singer who was in Dubai to attend a Bollywood award function was reportedly arrested from a bar.

According to reports, the singer has been accused of sending indecent photographs to the girl, who hails from Brazil.

However, this is not the first time Mika Singh is involved in a controversy revolving around harassment.

Earlier too, Mika Singh has been a part of several controversies.

In 2016, a Mumbai-based model had filed a complaint of molestation against the singer, while Mika had lodged a counter-complaint against her alleging extortion.

A year before that, Mika was arrested and released on bail for allegedly assaulting a doctor during one of his concerts.

Before that, Mika was arrested at the Mumbai airport for allegedly carrying Indian and foreign currency beyond permissible limit.

Another controversy in which Mika Singh was involved was in 2006, when he allegedly forcibly kissed actress Rakhi Sawant at his birthday party.
