After sweeping the audience by their feet with the uncanny resemblance between Sanjay Dutt and Ranbir Kapoor in the teaser, Hirani shared the Ranbir's transformation for the most special role in Sanjay Dutt and Rajkumar Hiran's career. On Friday morning, Hirani took to Twitter to share Kapoor lad's look as 'Munnabhai', which was directed by Hirani himself. The filmmaker wrote, "It was lot of nostalgia reliving a bit of Munnabhai in #Sanju." After all, this was the film which turned out to be an image makeover for Dutt, who was earlier known as 'Khalnayak' and bad boy of bollywood. Sanjay Dutt played the most loveable small town goon in the this one and Ranbir Kapoor is going to relive the moments in Dutt biopic as well.
At the teaser launch of 'Sanju', Dutt sent a video message for the team and spoke about the remarkable resemblance of Ranbir with him. He said, "Maine is picture ke scenes dekhe hain and I can't believe how Ranbir is looking like me. Raju (Rajkumar Hirani), Munna Bhai mein Ranbir ko mat le lena, samjha?"
Sanju teaser has been applauded by not just the audience but also the critics, leaving everyone excited for the film. Within no time, the teaser and poster spread like wildfire on the Internet making for the most watched teaser and the newest meme fodder for netizens.
One of the most anticipated films of the year, 'Sanju' has taken the audience by surprise with Ranbir Kapoor's amazing transformation as Sanjay Dutt.
Written and directed by Rajkumar Hirani, the film will also stars an ensemble cast in addition to Ranbir Kapoor which includes Paresh Rawal, Manisha Koirala, Vicky Kaushal, Sonam Kapoor and Dia Mirza amongst others.
