Filmmaker-producer, actress Pooja Bhatt recently took to Twitter to express her rage at name-calling that is apparently being used these days to denigrate actors.

Sharing her opinion on the micro-blogging site, in response to filmmaker Hansal Mehta's tweet, Pooja said that no one can dismiss anyone by calling names like small-time actors, B-grade or C-grade. Pooja along with filmmaker Hansal Mehta took a stand after actor Arjun Kapoor was called a `small-time actor` on a news channel.

"Nobody is a "small-time" actor. Get that straight f**khead (name of the TV journalist). Enough of this demeaning and abuse of our profession," Mehta tweeted.

Strongly agreeing to Mehta's opinion, Pooja wrote: "I agree with Hansal Mehta when he says "Nobody is a small time actor". People use terms like the above & `out of work` actor, `B` or `C` grade actor as a means to dismiss & degrade. The joy & trial of being an actor/artist is that at some point you are going to be out of work."

She added, "That`s what makes ALL artistes across board such courageous people. To constantly embrace uncertainty, to plod on & put your best face forward even after enduring failure. To follow your heart & hone your art no matter how average or brilliant people think you are-that takes guts."

Pooja also gave a special shout out to people associated with showbiz, writing, "So here`s to the artists, the makers, the entertainers, the believers. We are warriors! Our tools are our hearts, our senses. Our strength is our vulnerability, our capacity to fall & rise again. Success is temporary, failure guaranteed & we still do what we do. Not everyone`s cup of tea!"

Earlier, Mahesh Bhatt's wife and daughter Soni Razdan and Pooja Bhatt got brutally trolled on social media platforms after Mahesh's Whatsapp chat with Rhea Chakraborty was leaked. The two had taken to Twitter to defend Mahesh and had said that the forwards he sent to Rhea had also been sent to them, and several other people in the filmmaker's contact list.

While Soni restricted her comment section after that, Pooja faced a lot of flak on social media for defending her father.

Also, for the uninformed, a couple of weeks ago, actor Ranvir Shorey had slammed the Bhatt family through his tweet. He alleged being abused by the family, stating that old police and media reports would confirm the same. The 'Sonchiraiya' actor also went on to allege that the moguls have targeted him since years.

Ranvir responded to an article which stated that Pooja Bhatt was in an abusive relationship with Ranvir Shorey. He said that the article was a result of 'sustained', 'defamatory' and 'malicious' PR campaign.
