The King of romance turns 52 today. Shah Rukh Khan has been entertaining us with his movies and inspiring us with his work since the past 25 years. Till now, SRK has acted in over 80 movies, romanced more than 35 actresses (launched the career of quite a few of them too), won 14 Filmfare Awards, has been awarded the Padma Shri among many other accolades.
Over the years, Shah Rukh Khan has wooed more than 35 actresses on screen but there are some who remain etched in the hearts of the fans forever. We decided to ask our readers, which popular actress, in their opinion, makes the best on screen pair with Shah Rukh Khan.

1) Shah Rukh Khan - Kajol
This is probably the most loved on screen pair of all times. Shah Rukh and Kajol have done a plethora of films together. Everytime they pair up on screen, what gets created is what we call magic. Be it films like Baazigar, DDLJ, Kuch Kuch Hota Hai, Kabhi Khushi Kabhie Gham, May Name Is Khan, Dilwale or a simple ad commercial, SRK and Kajol redefine romance like no other.
2) Shah Rukh Khan - Rani Mukerji

Shah Rukh and Rani make another successful pair that has worked wonders at the box office. Be it Kuch Kuch Hota Hai, Chalte Chalte, Paheli or Kabhi Alvida Naa Kehna, this jodi makes us believe that good actors do make each other look goos on screen
3) Shah Rukh Khan - Madhuri Dixit Nene

Shah Rukh and Madhuri make for one of those pairs that remind us of the love of the higher kinds, where feelings and expressions take a higher stand than merely looking good together. The duo have mesmerized their fans every time they've come together in films like Anjaam, Koyla, Dil TOh Pagal Hai, Devdas and others.
4) Shah Rukh - Aishwarya Rai Bachchan

This is probably the only pair that has successfully pulled off a brother-sister jodi (in Josh) as well as a romantic pair (in movies like Mohabbatein, Devdas and more recently in Ae Dil Hai Mushkil). Though we haven't seen much of them togther on screen, but they do make for one amazing pair.
5) Shah Rukh Khan - Preity Zinta

Preity Zinta debuted in Bollywood with Shah Rukh in Dil Se and there was no looking back for her since then. The duo became immensely popular with Kal Ho Na Ho and then came together in Veer Zaara and Kabhi Alvida Naa Kehna. The box office success of all these films speaks volumes about the love that this pair received from the audience.
6) Shah Rukh Kah - Deepika Padukone
Talking about debuts, Deepika too got her major break in Bollywood opposite Shah Rukh in Om Shanti Om. The movie went on to become a blockbuster and the rest as they say is history. The duo have also done Happy New Year and Chennai Express and all these films have set new benchmarks at the ticket windows.
7) Shah Rukh Khan - Anushka Sharma
Anushka also got a dream Bollywood debut opposite Shah Rukh in the Yash Raj film - Rab Ne Bana Di Jodi and the actress has never looked back since then. They came together again in YRF's Jab Tak Hai Jaan and more recently in Imtiaz Ali's Jab Harry Met Sejal. The duo will be seen together again in Aanand L Rai's upcoming untitled film.
