Sushant Singh Rajput and Sanjana Sanghi are soon going to be seen in Kizzie Aur Manny, but their film now have a completely new name. This film marks Sanjana and director Mukesh Chabbra’s debut. Mukesh is a well-known casting director who has gone into direction through this film.
The producers of this film Fox Star Studios took to their Twitter handle to reveal the new name. Since it is Valentine's week, they shared a romantic still from the film (of course, near the Eiffel Tower in Paris) and captioned the image writing, “Dil ki baatein dil hi jaane! #KizieAurManny is now #DilBechara. @itsSSR @sanjanasanghi96 @CastingChhabra”
Talking about the reason for the title change to Mumbai Mirror, Rucha Pathak, chief creative officer of Fox Star Studios said, “AR Rahman, who is composing the music, shared a vibrant and fun number, with lyrics penned by Amitabh Bhattacharya. When we heard the song, we found our title in it. It perfectly embodies the theme of our film.”
Not only change in title, the film also has a new cast member – Saif Ali Khan. Saif, who is playing an important cameo in the film, joined Sushant and Sanjana in Paris, at Quai de l’Hotel-de-ville near Montmartre, to be precise. Saif reportedly will play the role of author Peter Van Houten in the film.
Speaking about Saif, Mukesh Chabbra mentioned, “We shot in Paris for a week but Saif was only there for a few days. He gelled well with the team and we had a great time,” adding, “Shooting there was surreal and no, I didn’t make Sushant and Sanjana dance around the tower.”
The director, who is remaking The Fault In Our Stars, was accused of #MeToo allegations by two anonymous ladies, as was quoted by a leading daily. Mukesh, instead charged the publication with a response and in turn asked details of the complainants through his Twitter handle.
