Kim Sharma’s former domestic help slaps assault charges against the actress.
Bollywood actress and model Kim Sharma has landed herself in a legal soup.
The actress' erstwhile domestic help has filed severe assault charges against her.
If the allegations are to be believed, Kim had beaten up the maid up for not separating the whites from the rest of the laundry.
The domestic help has been working at Kim's Khar residence from April 27.
As quoted by Mumbai Mirror, “After the clothes were washed, I noticed that a black blouse had bled into a white tee. I realised my mistake and went to tell her about it immediately.”
But what happened next was unbelievable and ruthless.
Kim allegedly flew into a rage, yelled at her and manhandled her.
“She pushed me out of the house, telling me not to return. She even hurled unparliamentary words at me,” victim added.
In the same report, the complainant has also claimed that Kim refused to settle her dues as well.
“I tried several times to get my salary. After her final refusal, I lodged a police complaint on June 27,” said the house help.
Kim's domestic help also went on to say that the Khar police is yet to summon the Mohabbatein actress or apprise her of the status of the complaint.
A Khar police official, on the other hand, in his statement to Mumbai Mirror confirmed that the non-cognisable offence was registered under sections 323 (voluntarily causing hurt) and 504 (intentional insult with intent to provoke breach of the peace) of the IPC (Indian Penal Code).
“The complainant can move the court for further legal action as per the law,” he said.
However, denying the above allegations. Kim maintains in her statement to the daily that she didn’t manhandle her house help.
“She has been told that her dues would be cleared on the seventh. I did not beat her. She ruined my clothes worth over Rs 70,000. I only asked her to leave after she did that,” Kim said.
