Kangana Ranaut wants a share of the profits for her upcoming films...

Recently, Aamir Khan spoke about how he didn’t take any money from a film he did, instead getting money only when the film started turning a profit. This particular method turns out pretty well for him time and time again, considering most of his films, like Dhoom 3, PK, Dangal and 3 Idiots, have turned out to be blockbusters. Now, Kangana Ranaut feels that she should take up the same kind of profit sharing.
Apparently, the actress is confident enough about the success of her next two movies that she feels that she could benefit well by limiting her fees to the profits the films earn. Kangana will be seen first in Manikarnika: The Queen of Jhansi and then in Mental Hai Kya, opposite Rajkummar Rao.
Reports say that the 31 year-old actress feels that Manikarnika will earn a good profit and Mental Hai Kya will maintain that momentum. However, her last few films, such as Simran, Katti Batti and Rangoon, did mediocre business at the box office. However, here’s hoping that her fortunes turn around with her next releases.
Manikarnika: The Queen of Jhansi is about the legendary Rani Lakshmibai, one of the main fighters of the revolution of 1857, and will see the light of day on January 25, 2019. Mental Hai Kya, her second collaboration with Rajkummar Rao after Queen, will be released on February 22, 2019.
