After launching the teaser of 'Helicopter Eela' on Kajol's 44th birthday, the makers of the film released the first song - 'Mumma Ki Parchai' on Monday. Composed by Amit Trivedi and sung by Ronit Sarkar, 'Mumma Ki Parchai' is a musical ode to all the over-protecting, ever-nagging but also very, very loving and caring mothers.

Featuring Kajol and Riddhi Sen, the song beautifully encapsulates the insecurities and fears of a single mother and the struggles of a young son.

Kajol is lovely as the nosy mother, no doubt about that, but at times it does get a little too much. For instance in this 2-minute-25-second-long video, she has actually slapped her son some five times! I mean, who does that?

Swanand Kirkire's lyrics are quirky and highly relatable but I doubt the song's potential of becoming a chartbuster. It's a musical rant that's low on melody.
