The 51st International Film Festival of India (IFFI), under Indian Panorama, is all set to award Bollywood films including Gully Boy, Super 30, Badhaai Ho, Uri: The Surgical Strike, and Pareeksha in the year 2020. The announcement was made on Tuesday, October 20, through The Gazette Of India.
Apart from Bollywood films, a few Hindi non-feature films were also listed, as well as films, both feature, and non-feature, in other languages.
The announcement read, "The Ministry of Information and Broadcasting, Government of India hereby notify that in accordance with the Indian Panorama Regulations 2019 as amended from time to time the Central Government on the basis of recommendations made by the respective Juries has decided to present awards to the Films/Persons mentioned below."
Here's a list of Hindi feature films that will be awarded:
Uri: The Surgical Strike

Meanwhile, Kangana Ranaut's Manikarnika: The Queen of Jhansi did not make it to the list of films that will be awarded. Apart from Bollywood, Marathi films including Anandi Gopal, Tujhya Aaila, Bhonga among others have been named in the list along with many Tamil, Bengali, Malayalam, Paniya films that will be awarded.
What is the Indian Panorama?
Indian Panorama is the chief component of the International Film Festival of India (IFFI), under which some of the most outstanding contemporary Indian films are selected with the aim to promote film art. The Indian Panorama was introduced in 1978 and was organised by the Directorate of Film Festivals, Ministry of Information and Broadcasting, Government of India.
