'Brahmastra': It's Manali schedule for Ranbir Kapoor and Alia Bhatt

Ranbir Kapoor and Alia Bhatt are leaving no stone unturned in completing the shoot of their upcoming and first film together, Brahmastra. The film is directed by Ayan Mukerji is a part of a trilogy. Apart from Ranbir and Alia, the film also has Amitabh Bachchan as the leading star while Mouni Roy, Nagarjuna and Dimple Kapadia in pivotal roles. Brahmastra has been extensively shot in Bulgaria, Mumbai, London, New York, Scotland and Varanasi as well.

Now as per reports in Mumbai Mirror, Ranbir and Alia will be heading to Manali for the next schedule of the film. Talking about it, a source told the tabloid, "Ranbir, Alia and the entire cast will fly to Manali in November for a 15-day shoot. Every location carries Shiva’s (RK’s character) story forward. Manali, too, plays an important role in the screenplay."

The source further shared about how the film will be showing locations as one of the central characters. They said, "All the locations in India that feature in the story reference the central characters. During the Manali schedule, the story of Shiva’s origin and self-discovery will be traced."

They concluded by saying, "The first instalment in the trilogy narrates Shiva’s discovery of the ‘Agni’ within him." While Alia is playing the role of Isha, who is RK's love interest.

Brahmastra's release date has been changed multiple times. The film was all set to hit the screens in Christmas this year but has now postponed to Summer 2020. But no concrete release date has been announced.
