On Wednesday night, kickstarting the first leg of their holiday, the Akshay Kumar flew to Florida only with son, Aarav. "The first eight days of our vacation have been reserved for some father-son bonding. Aarav and I will be in Tampa, Florida, where we intend to drive around a couple of beach destinations. We will also indulge in some adventure sports like surfing, and snorkelling. There is an itinerary in place but I also intend to add some surprises to the trip along the way. I had always wanted to do this and Aarav was game for it!" the Khiladi told Mumbai Mirror before boarding his flight.

After the eight days, on June 7, the father-son duo will leave for London. "My wife and daughter Nitara will join us there," he said. The next day, the family of four will join Twinkle's mother, Dimple Kapadia to celebrate her 60th birthday. "It's a special occasion and we want to celebrate it with the entire family," the actor said.

The tabloid has heard that Twinkle's younger sister, Rinke, and her family, will fly out to London from Delhi to be a part of the celebrations. Also, Dimple's late sister Simple's son, Karan Kapadia, who now lives with the veteran actress in Mumbai will be joining in. Dimple will be surrounded by her daughters, sons-in-law Akshay and Sameer Saran, nephew Karan and all her grand kids, on her special day.

Post the birthday celebrations, Akshay and gang will travel to a few more European destinations before returning to London and eventually to Mumbai.
