Ajay Devgn reveals the truth about being part of SS Rajamouli's 'RRR'

Ever since he made the epic blockbuster Baahubali, SS Rajamouli has become one of the most wanted directors of our times. He is currently working on RRR which stars Ram Charan and Junior NTR in the lead role. A report had claimed that Ajay Devgn, who is closely associated with Rajamouli, had been approached for a small but pivotal role. Ajay, in a recent interview, cleared his stand on the same.

In a recent interview (held for his upcoming movie Total Dhamaal), Ajay cleared, "Forget about being part of #RRR, firstly none from the project have approached me for a role. So what you heard are just rumours". According to a report in IB Times, in another interview with a newspaper, Ajay Devgn was quoted saying, "I'm not part of 'RRR' project. If opportunity really does come to me definitely I will declare it officially".

When SS Rajamouli was asked about the same, he said in an interview, "Let them write, let them speculate." Not just Ajay Devgn, speculations were even made about the lead actress in the film. While the makers haven't made an official announcement, names like Alia Bhatt and Parineeti Chopra have cropped up for the role.

For the uninitiated, Ajay and Rajamouli have worked together for Makkhi. Makkhi happens to be the Hindi version of Telugu hit Eega. While Ajay did not act in the film, he and his wife Kajol gave voice-over to SS Rajamouli's movie Makkhi.
