The family of Jacinta Saldanha on Wednesday urged the government to ensure that an Indian agency looks into the death of the nurse. Her family insisted that the second post mortem be conducted in India. Currently, the Scotland Yard is investigating her mysterious death.

She was found dead in her apartment in London following a prank call made by radio jockeys of an Australian FM radio station, resulting in leaking the pregnancy details of the duchess of Cambridge. “The family felt that something was amiss somewhere and efforts were on to play down the incident, but they wanted the full truth from the hospital administration as well as the investigating agencies, which they were not getting,” Ivan D’Souza a friend of the family told DNA.

“We will send a formal and official request to the British government and the investigating agencies to share the full details while asking the Indian government to allow second post mortem and investigation by an Indian agency,” D’Souza said.
“We are not happy the way this incident is being treated by the authorities in London as there has been no flow of information regarding her death, we do apprehend foul play,” the late nurse’s brother, Naveen Saldanha, said.

Body of Jacinta is expected to reach her hometown Shirva on Friday.
