One held for selling ganja to prisoners in Bangalore

Five kg of ganja worth Rs75,000 were seized and one person arrested for allegedly supplying ganja to prisoners in Parappana Agrahara jail in Bangalore, police said today.

The accused, Syed Hasan, was arrested while he was transporting ganja in his autorickshaw at Bommannahalli, a city crime branch statement said.

During interrogation Hasan revealed that he was selling ganja to autorickshaw drivers and people who came to visit the prisoners in the jail, police said.

He also said he purchased ganja from one Ramanna,a resident of Jaibhima nagar here, police added.
