The Bangalore Metropolitan Task Force (BMTF) on Thursday launched an online complaint registry system. Residents can register their complaints through the website www.bmtf.gov.in.
According to RP Sharma, BMTF additional director-general, the site will be open to residents on Monday. “They can register complaints on the website. BMTF officials will investigate and within one week the progress will be displayed,” he said. If a complainant wants to keep his/her identity secret, the progress of investigation will be sent to the complainant’s email ID.

Sharma said that in case a particular complaint did not come under their purview, it would be forwarded to the department concerned. He said the online complaint registry system would help the BMTF detect and investigate issues raised by the public.
