'Netas' take a hike and go home in Karnataka

Karnataka assembly on Tuesday was adjourned after sanctioning a 150% salary hike for the chief minister and other  ministers and a 100% increase for legislators.

Karnataka Ministers’ salaries and allowances (amendment) Bill 2011 and Karnataka Legislature salaries and pensions and allowances (second amendment) Bill 2011 would put an additional burden of nearly Rs26 crore a year on exchequer.
