Kin blackmails girl over sleaze tape

A teenager was blackmailed by her distant relative, who threatened to expose video tapes showing her indulging in sleazy acts and extorted Rs15 lakh. The man also scared the 16-year-old girl into getting engaged to him.

In a complaint to the Mico Layout police, Farheen Hussain has said that his family noticed that gold valuables and cash worth Rs15 lakh in all were missing from their house.

The family had in fact saved the valuables and cash for the wedding of the complainant’s sister.

However, the girl started behaving suspiciously, drawing the attention of the family, which questioned her what had gone wrong. After much cajoling, the girl spilled the beans. and told the family that the distant relative had blackmailed her claiming to have some tapes showing her indulging in sleazy acts. As the man was unemployed, he took money from her to start his own business. She also got engaged to him under duress.

The family later called off the engagement and approached the police to retrieve the valuables..
