The petitioner PM Parameshwaramurthy has contended that BU has failed to see that the post of registrar requires a person of impeccable character and integrity. “Mylarappa is a man of questionable character and therefore his appointment deserves to be set aside.

He is not qualified to become a lecturer and was indicted for plagiarism,” the petitioner  stated. The division bench headed by Justice KL Manjunath adjourned the petition to March 1.
