Diganth and Aindrita Ray: Now that’s some chemistry!

When people saw Diganth and Aindrita Ray pair up in the not-so-usual love story Manasaare, they were left wanting more.

After all, it wasn’t easy to forget the chemistry the two shared in the songs. And now, they’re ready to give their fans more. DNA shares an exclusive sneak peek into their new film together, Parijatha, and going by the official stills, looks like the film has the potential to be an absolute sizzler.

“I’m excited! This film will see Diganth and me pair up in a love story and it will be fun. People have loved the two of us together and believe us to be a good looking pair that they like to see on screen,” says Ray, who is currently shooting for this film, which is being shot in Mysore.

The petite actress is also excited because her role is quite different from the glam doll image she is known to have.

“The film requires me to look a lot less glamorous, dressed up in Indian clothes, much like someone you’d meet anywhere. I’m also experimenting with a nose ring for the first time,” says Ray, who is enjoying her work on the sets of a young team at work.

The film, which is a remake of the hit Tamil film Boss Engira Bhaskaran that starred Nayanthara and Arya, is being shot predominantly in Mysore.

A big set has been erected in the Manasagangotri, the Mysore University campus. The film is being directed by Prabhu Srinivas, who has also directed the Prajwal Devaraj-starrer Jeeva before. The film is scheduled to hit the screens in the latter half of this year.
