Selection would be based on written test and interview. Written tests will be held at 38 centres across the country on May 29. The university will be holding open interactive sessions in Bangalore, New Delhi, Kozhikode and Trivandrum.

The interactive session in Bangalore has been scheduled from 2 pm to 6 pm on March 27 at YWCA, Koramangala VI Block.

Selected candidates, based on assessment of means and needs, would be provided financial support in the form of the Azim Premji Scholarship which will cover partial/full tuition, course expenses, boarding and lodging; loan assistance to cover partial/full tuition fees and living expenses; assistantships which will be open to candidates with two years of experience and currently in employment and will include monthly stipend.

Besides, experienced candidates have been provided the special provision of applying for jobs with the foundation at the time of admission itself.

The university is determined to offer financial assistance and student support, so that financial constraints do not impede students from pursuing their education. Placement opportunities will be extended on the completion of studies, in government, industry, NGOs and multi-lateral agencies.

The Azim Premji Foundation plans to hire 4,000 people in the next four years, and students will be considered for employment there.
