It was a day marred by road accidents, leading to deaths of a school boy, a painter and farmer, in separate incidents.
Seven-year-old Kishore Kumar died when a school van hit him on Friday. A Class IV student in a government school,  Kishore was a resident of Priyanka Layout. The accident occurred on Hosur Road at 4.30 pm when a van of Sujatha School hit him as he was returning home.

In another case, 47-year-old Ramachandrappa died in an accident on Tumkur Road on Saturday morning after an over-speeded water tanker hit him. Around 7 am, Ramachandrappa, a painter, was crossing the road when the tanker (registration number KA-52-5134) hit him. 

A 38-year-old farmer died on Friday after a tractor ran him over near Bangalore University. Durgesh was carrying vegetables to the market when the accident took place.
