Police busted yet another prostitution racket in the city with the arrest of four persons, including two models, from Richmond Town.

The Woman and Narcotic squad of Central Crime Branch raided a rented flat in Greenfield Apartment, Richmond Town, on Wednesday evening and arrested models Shwetha Kapoor, 21, a native of Delhi settled in Mumbai and Priya Shukla, 23, a native of Ludhiana, along with the pimps Manoj Kumar, 19, and Aryan Singh, 22.

The racket was running its business from the flat for the past one-and-a-half-months. The kingpin in the illegal trade — Ravi and Ballu — are absconding. Hailing from north India, they used to change their hubs every six months. The absconding duo had hired Kumar and Singh who used to book customers over telephone and serve them with food and liquor.

The racket targeted IT professionals, students and businessmen in the city. Police said they charged between Rs10,000 and Rs15,000 for a night. Customers were shown an album of young girls and the rate was fixed according to the choice.
Police seized six mobile phone handsets and Rs6,000 cash from the four arrested persons. A case has been registered in Ashoknagar police station.
