"It is BJP's agenda to keep the focus on PM Narendra Modi's leadership. But, I must say that no educational qualification is required to become PM in India. "Rival parties of Congress have been running intense marketeering against Rahul Gandhi. However, it cannot be said that he is incompetent on that basis only. The fate will be decded by voters in the Lok Sabha polls," he added.

Talking on Rafael deal, Sinha said the truth came out and PM should have adopted transparency over the issue.

"Such issues cannot be hidden. The issue has reached the Supreme Court now, and that can ruin the image of the party," Sinha further added.

Shatrughan Sinha along with former finance minister of India, Yashwant Sinha, had come to Gujarat to attend farmers' rally on Wednesday held at Vanthli town of Junagadh district. Sinha also said he morally supports Hardik Patel for his agenda on farmers.
