Students appearing for the first exam of Class 10 Board exams came out of the examination centre with a smiling face as they found the language paper to be easy. While most of the students found English paper to be quite easy, some found few questions to be twisted, overall agreeing unanimously that the paper could be finished on time.

Of a total number of 880119 students registered for SSC first language, 863690 appeared for the exam whereas of 220058 students registered for HSC General stream, 217744 students appeared. For Physics, of 137471 students registered, 137142 students appeared for the exam.

Sharing his experience, Karshil Shah, a student of Nirman High school said, "It was a very easy paper. I had thought it would be tough but to my surprise, it was a good start. Even topics of essay writing were easy: Monsoon in India and clean environment and healthy India. There was one question that asked us to write an email to our father on future plans." Karshil's centre was CN Vidyalaya in Ambawadi.

For Aliyan Panjvani, a student of GLS school, while the overall paper went well, he did find few questions tough. He says, "Overall, my paper was great but there were some questions which were asked in a twisted form and hence I got confused. It was mainly in the poem section of comprehension. But I could finish my paper in time."

A total of 10 copying cases were registered in the state that included six cases from Kheda, Bhuj, Patan, Rajkot and Surendranagar for SSC and four cases from Panchmahal and Patan. There were three dummy writers cases also registered.

Aditya Parikh, another student was also found content after appearing his paper. He said, "Since the first paper was easy, it has given me confidence and positivity to appear in other papers. All questions were asked from the syllabus, nothing was out of the syllabus."

PAPER LEAK IN DAHOD

Attempts to leak Class 10 paper went futile after the collector raided the school centre.

After getting a tip-off, the collector had sent a team to raid a school centre and found materials to be used for leaking.
