52-year-old man murdered by two for pity argument

Both accused have been nabbed by the police, one of who is a minor

A complaint of murder was lodged with the Krishnanagar police station on Monday because a 52-year-old man died after he was beaten up by two, after an argument on sitting at a tea stall. Both accused have been nabbed by the police, one of who is a minor.

The incident took place at around 10.30pm on Sunday night near Thakkarbapanagar. The deceased was identified as Deepak Raj, 52, a resident of Thakkarbapanagar area.

As per police, Raj had gone to a tea Stall near the area, when the two accused, identified as Dashrat Solanki and a 16-year-old boy, were sitting at his daily spot. He asked the two to move, and after some time, an argument ensued. Slowly, the matter escalated and Raj was beaten by the two. The dispute was sorted out after others intervened.

Nikul Maru, sub-inspector of Krishnanagar police station said, "Raj had injuries on head and he went to his house after getting it checked by a local doctor. On a Monday morning at around 5 am, Raj succumbed to his injuries."

Regarding the matter, Krishnanagar police were informed, who reached the spot and lodged a case against the two accused.

Maru added, "Two have been nabbed by us in the morning and further investigation is on."

THE INCIDENT

Raj suffered injuries on head and went home after getting it checked by a local doctor. On Monday morning, around 5 am, he succumbed to his injuries
