World 'Air Sex' title for best simulated stage sex up for grabs

Forget air guitar, the World Air Sex Championships are set to begin in the US.

In the competition, contestants will romp their way through the show simulating sex in front of a live audience.

On their own with no props and just one soundtrack, the eager participants have to act out a full sexual experience to impress judges.

This includes meeting their "partner", seduction, foreplay and intercourse.

And the tip from the experts is to have a game plan.

"Have a costume, have a plan and commit 100% to whatever you're doing," the Sun quoted air sex host Chris Trew as saying. 

"If you're having sex with a goat, then I wanna see you stroking its horns. I want that goat to be turned on," Trew added.

The competition is being held in Williamsburg, New York, on October 9.

The winner will progress to compete in the world title in Austin, Texas.
