New York mayor says will not run for US presidency

New York Mayor Michael Bloomberg said on Sunday, "no way, no how" will he run for the US presidency as some backers have suggested he do and as many in the news media have speculated he may do.                                        

Appearing on NBC's Meet the Press, Bloomberg said he intends to remain focused instead on his job. "I want to go out being, having a reputation, as a very good, maybe the great mayor ever."
