Angolan authorites have arrested two people it says took part in an armed attack on a bus carrying the Togo national soccer team to the African Nations Cup in Cabinda that killed two of its members.

Angolan prosecutor Antonio Nito said in a statement the two people arrested belonged to the Front for the Liberation of the Enclave of Cabinda (FLEC), a separatist movement that has waged a more than three-decade long war against the Angolan government.

"The two elements of FLEC were captured at the scene of the incident, the road to Massabi that connects both countries (Angola and Congo)," he said in a statement published on state-owned news agency Angop.
