With the Bombay high court to continue its hearing on the petition by suspended IPL chief Lalit Modi, tomorrow's meeting of BCCI disciplinary committee probing the alleged financial irregularities by him in running the T20 league in Delhi is expected to be cancelled, his lawyer said.

"The petition was partly heard today and will continue tomorrow. So the disciplinary committee is expected not to meet tomorrow," Modi's lawyer Mehboob Abdi said.

The BCCI disciplinary committee was scheduled to meet for three consecutive days from September 13-15 but today's meeting was cancelled yesterday as the Bombay high court was hearing the petition by Modi.

Modi had moved the Bombay high court seeking reconstitution of the committee after the BCCI ruled that two of its members - Arun Jaitley and interim IPL chairman Chirayu Amin - need not pull out of the panel.

Modi had contended that Jaitley and Amin were biased against him.

Union minister Jyotiraditya Scindia is the other member of the panel.

The Bombay high court today adjourned hearing on Modi's petition for tomorrow.
