India discard and Bengal Ranji Trophy captain Manoj Tiwary is likely to face the wrath  of the BCCI, and again it’s due to his outburst against the umpires.

Though, Tiwary this time ensured that the outburst was not on the ground, DNA has been able to access a Facebook post which the right-handed batsman put up on his Facebook wall for sometime, before removing it and replacing it with another post questioning the umpiring standards.

It may be noted that Tiwary was given leg-before decision off Railways’ spinner Murali Karthik on Friday, during the Bengal-Railways match at the Karnail Singh Stadium in Delhi.

It was umpire Pashchim Pathak who gave the decision.

Tiwary wasn’t happy with the verdict. And just after the match, he posted a message on his Facebook wall through his Blackberry stating “Once again I am f@#$ed by bad decision by our so called Elite Umpire…bus…ds.”.

This message was on the public forum for about 15-20 minutes before Tiwary deleted it and replaced it with another message- “Standards Needs 2 b improve ....” This message too indicates that he is not happy with the umpire’s decision.

When informed about the incident, BCCI chief administrative officer Prof Ratnakar Shetty pointed out that this act falls under the code of conduct and Tiwary would be reprimanded once BCCI gets the proof of the act.

“This is a serious offence, we will certainly look into it as it falls under the code of conduct,” Prof Shetty said.

Earlier this year, Tiwary was handed a one-match ban and fined 100 per cent of his match fees by BCCI after he abused an umpire and damaged things inside the dressing room during a Vijay Hazare match in Orissa.

Efforts to reach Tiwary on his phone were unsuccessful.
