The Indian team arrived today without Sachin Tendulkar and Virender Sehwag, along with their South African counterparts, for the third one-day international in Ahmedabad on Saturday.
Both Tendulkar, who smashed a record-breaking knock of 200 not out at Gwalior yesterday, and Sehwag have been rested for the third ODI to be played at the Sardar Patel Stadium at Motera.
Meanwhile, unprecedented security arrangements have been made at the team hotel where the players are going to stay with the entire area surrounding the hotel being cordoned off.
The hotel has been converted into a fortress with nearly 100 police personnel being deployed in and around the building.
India have taken an unassailable 2-0 lead in the three match series, having defeated the visitors by one run in Jaipur and by 153 runs at Gwalior.
