Top-seeded Egypt and second-seeded India scored identical 3-0 victories over their respective rivals in the 13th Junior World Women’s Team Championships at the ICL Academy courts here on Monday.

Egypt swamped Sweden 3-0 with all three Egyptian players scoring straight-game victories. Dipika Pallikal, who lost in the semi-finals as the top seed in the Individual Championship, led India’s charge against the Germans with a straight-game win over Lisa Marie Sedlmeier.
