India captain Mahendra Singh Dhoni won the toss, and elected to field in the fifth and final cricket one-day international against Sri Lanka at Feroze Shah Kotla ground here today.

India, who have already sealed the series with an unassailable 3-1 lead, went into the match without Sachin Tendulkar, as Dhoni returns to the team after serving a two-match ban for the team's slow over rate in the second ODI in Nagpur.

India also handed Sudeep Tyagi his maiden ODI cap, who replaced paceman Ishant Sharma.

Sri Lanka made two changes. Mahela Jayawardene and Lasith Malinga were replaced by M Pushpakumara and Chanaka Welegedara.

Start of the match was delayed by 15 minutes due to fog.

Teams:
India: Mahendra Singh Dhoni (C), Gautam Gambhir, Virender Sehwag, Suresh Raina, Virat Kohli, Dinesh Karthik, Ravindra Jadeja, Harbhajan Singh, Zaheer Khan, Ashish Nehra and Sudeep Tyagi.

Sri Lanka: Kumar Sangakkara (C), Tillakaratne Dilshan, Upul Tharanga, Thilan Samaraweera, Sanath Jayasuriya, Thilan Kandamby, Thissera Perera, M Pushpakumara, Chanaka Welegedara, Suranga Lakmal and Suraj Randiv.
