Real Madrid will look forward to carry on their march to lift the La Liga trophy in 2017 after a gap of five years, when they face Sporing Gijon away from the Estadio Santiago Bernabeau on Saturday night. They will look to pick up all three points from this fixture and maintain their cushion of three points over rivals Barcelona with a game in hand.

Zinedine Zidane will look forward to heavily rotate his squad against Sporting, as Madrid approach their make or break week of the season. On Tuesday, they face Bayern Munich and on Sunday they will take on Barcelona which is being considered to be the title  decider. A rotated line-up is the only approach as Zidane would like to field fresh legs for the next two ties.

This match should be relatively simpler for Madrid, but they are no going to take it lightly as it can possibly turn out to be a banana skin, which Zidane's boys must avoid. Madrid's has an extra-ordinary bench strength with the likes of James Rodriguez, Alvaro Morata, Marco Asensio to name a few who have comfortably seen of opponents like Leganes.  Madrid must scribble out a win, by hook or by crook at this stage of this season, no matter how they play.

Gijon is fighting a relegation battle sitting 18th at the table and would look to bag at least a point in front of their home crowd. Form is not their side as they have managed a single win in their last six outings.

Madrid must fill their kitty with all three points and the fringe players must put their all to churn out a hard fought win.

Teams: Sporting (5-4-1): Cuellar; Castellano, Mere, Babin, Amorebieta, Lopez; Carmona, Alvarez, Vesga, Moi Gomez; Cop.

Madrid (4-3-3): Casilla; Danilo, Nacho, Ramos, Coentrao; Isco, Kovacic, James; Vasquez, Morata, Asensio.

Subs Sporting Gijon: Marino, Castro, Cases, Canella, Afif, Ndi, Torres.

Subs Real Madrid: Ruben Yanez, Kroos, Marcelo, Casemiro, Mariano, Modric, Tejero
