Uber tests 'Suggested Pickup Points' to save time

According to Techcrunch.com, the new feature provides recommendations on the closest or easiest place the users want to catch their ride. When the users drag the pickup pin, the feature shows from where the passengers can 'save time at these locations' and shows places nearby where it would quicker for the driver to pick them up.

The new feature can shorten the waiting time for the users and it will make it more convenient and appealing to customers. Also, this allows for the drivers to waste less time, so they can do more rides per hour on the job.

The feature is only in testing right now.
