Wondering what space can do to a human body? well, the most significance are loss of muscle mass, deterioration of the skeleton, decreased production of red blood cells, balance disorders, eyesight disorders and weakening of the immune system to name a few. But on the bright side of things you can grow a whole two inches taller.

Commander Scott Kelly has been through 340 consecutive gruelling days in space but at least he has ultimate bragging right over his twin brother, Mark Kelly. Sadly though this won't be long lived, being weightless for that long elongated his spine, so unless he managed to change his DNA or figure out a way to keep his new found “bragging rights” gravity will ultimately take its toll.

Kelly spent 340 days as the commander of the International Space Station (ISS) and broke the the world (or out-of-world) record for the most consecutive days spent in space (340 days) and most cumulative days spent in space by a US astronaut (520).
