Prince Charles gets James Bond for environmental video

James Bond star Daniel Craig and the Dalai Lama have teamed up along with a host of other celebrities to help Prince Charles in his latest mission - to save the world's rainforests.

Craig, Dalai Lama, Harrison Ford, Robin Williams, Charles sons William and Harry, football legend Pele and singer Joss Stone will appears in a computer-generated YouTube film to boost awareness about the issue of deforestation.

They will appear in  the latest environmental video, which also stars a digitally-created amphibian and Prince Charles.

The Prince sits alongside an animated frog in a yet to be released YouTube clip.

The new ad campaign will be launched by Charles on Wednesday night at a reception at the National Geographic Store in central London, Daily Mail reported.

"Our aim, with your help, is to build an online community to call, from the bottom up, for urgent action to protect the rainforests, without which we will most certainly lose the battle against catastrophic climate change," Charles said.

James Bond star Craig, who features in the video with the animated frog as his latest army candy, said he was happy to support "such an important issue."

Holding the animated frog in the video, the Dalai Lama also gave his blessings to the campaign.

"Princes William and Harry are pictured on the video clip with their new friend, the animated frog, as part of their father's new rainforest campaign

'Indiana Jones' star Ford, who is an active campaigner for the environmental causes for several years, said, "What happens in the rainforest has an immediate and powerful effect on our lives.

Brazil footballing legend Pele said he thought the video was an opportunity to "think about the future and new generations".

The video is the latest campaign by Prince to boost awareness for environmental causes, which he has been campaigning on for more than two decades.
