After a much publicised and dramatic end to her love-story, Fiza will soon be seen on the silver screen, playing the lead act in a film on 26/11.

The "estranged" wife of former Haryana deputy chief minister Chander Mohan alias Chand Mohammed will act in director Kamal Khan's new venture Deshdrohi II, which is based on the Mumbai terror attacks. Announcing this at a press conference here, Khan, who last year made Deshdrohi, said he will also act in the 25-crore budget film.

"Kamal first offered me role of a journalist in the film, but I told him that playing a lawyer's role will come naturally to me, to which he agreed. I am looking forward to
playing the role, which I am told is a very strong one," Fiza, who earlier served as Haryana's additional advocate general, said.

Asked if Chand Mohammed will also be given a role in the film, 37-year-old Fiza first shot back at the journalist, saying, "Why don't you go and ask him this question? Have you even (media) questioned him (Chand Mohammed) once about the way he said Talak Talak Talak (referring to her divorce earlier over phone and through SMS)?"

"Everyone knows that Chand Mohammed is not living with me, understand...I don't know where he is right now, but if he shows up before me, I will give a befitting reply to his Talak Talak Talak. You can ask me intellectual questions as much as you like, but you (media) should not ask such type of questions," Fiza said.

She claimed that several Muslim clerics had pointed out that the manner in which Chand Mohammed had divorced her was not right.

"He should come before me and stand face to face and then say whatever he has to say," said Fiza, who yesterday lodged a fresh criminal complaint before Punjab's director general of police accusing the 43-year-old Congress MLA from Kalka, of
"rape, cheating, hurting religious sentiments, defamation and criminal intimidation".

Seeing her get angry, the mediapersons present decided to boycott the conference, but were pacified by Khan. Chand had recently divorced Fiza by uttering "talaaq" thrice over phone from UK and sending an SMS with the same text. Fiza also asserted that after adopt Islam, she will remain a Muslim for the rest of her life.

Asked about the amount of money Fiza has taken to sign the film, Khan refused to reveal the detail, but added she was a "famous face in India now and the role is best suited to her personality".

"I have got best athlete, best singer and best dancer awards when I was in college," Fiza said when asked if she had acted earlier.

Asked if she will join politics, Fiza said that some political parties were approaching her to contest elections. She, however, said that as of now she will only campaign in some parts of Uttar Pradesh, including Lucknow.
