Three persons, arrested in connection with murder of call centre employee Jigisha Ghosh, were on Tuesday sent to five days' judicial custody by a Delhi court.

Ravi Kapoor, Amit Kumar Shukla and Baljeet Malik, alleged car-jackers who have also confessed their complicity in the killing of TV journalist Soumya Viswanathan, were brought to the court of Metropolitan Magistrate Saurav Pratap Singh Laler
with muffled face.

The three accused, so far, have not been arrested in connection with Vishwanathan's murder case, police said.

The court sent them to judicial custody till March 28 and later, asked police officials to appear before another magistrate for getting the nod to conduct test identification parade (TIP) in Tihar jail.

Metropolitan Magistrate Veena Rani fixed March 27 for conducting the TIP in jail where the sales persons and others may identify the accused for ascertaining the fact that they were the same persons who had misused ATM card of Ghosh.

The accused had used her ATM card to withdraw Rs 77,000 from the SBI ATM in Mahipalpur besides using the debit card to buy expensive goggles, wrist watches and shoes from Sarojini Nagar market.

Ghosh (28) was killed in the wee hours of March 18 while returning from her work at a call centre.

The recovery of weapon used in the murder of Ghosh (28) on March 18 led to the cracking of the killing of Viswanathan also, police had said.

"The weapons of offence used in committing the crime have been recovered. We are hundred per cent sure that the cases have been solved," a police official said.

Robbery is said to be the motive behind both the murders, which took place in a posh locality of Vasant Vihar in south Delhi within a span of six months. Both victims were returning from work in the wee hours when they were attacked.

Viswanathan was found shot dead in her car on September 30 last year while returning home after work around 3.30 a.m.

The body of Ghosh was found in Faridabad on March 19.
