Boy sodomised, strangulated to death

A nine-year-old boy was allegedly sodomised before being strangulated to death by a youth in Jagsi village of the district, police said on Friday.

The victim identified as Ankit was going towards a STD booth last night when he was waylaid by 23-year-old youth, who
took him to his house and allegedly sodomised him.

Vikas later strangulated him to death.

When the boy did not return to his house, a search was carried out by the parents who later found his body.
 
Vikas has been arrested and a case registered against him.
