Ray of light!

Guys, no brownie points are needed to guess what turns this ex-supermodel on! Lisa Ray gives it a thought and says, “Humour…humour is a big one. He should be flexible and should possess a great smile.”

Though we asked her, she refuses to divulge any details about her relationship with her Italian photographer boyfriend. “I like to be mysterious,” she says, refusing to say anything more about her personal life.

That apart, seems like the cheesiest thing she has heard about herself is that she actually has a ‘body double’! “Recently, somebody mailed me saying that they saw me at the Zee Carnival in London. But I wasn’t there at all,” Lisa chuckles. “It seems I have a double,” she says with a twinkle in her eyes.

So, what has she been up to? Lisa tells us she has been busy working on the French movie Black Box, Deepa Mehta’s Stella, and Shamin Sarif’s lesbian-themed movies I Can’t Think Straight and A World Unseen. But guess what she is excited about most?

She reveals that when she met Daniel Craig for the audition of the last Bond movie (Quantum of Solace), she nearly fainted! “The last big audition I went for was for the last Bond film that released. It was so cool to stand with Daniel Craig and audition. I nearly fainted. I was one of the last three girls who were selected for the role that Olga Kurylenko finally portrayed in the movie.” 

Currently in Mumbai for the Rado launch, Lisa says she will be in India for a while. And don’t be surprised if you see her in a Bollywood masala film next. “I’ve got offers from Bollywood. I want to be a part of it now. So I might just sign on a masala film soon,” she ends.
