While pooling in his resources to bid for Satyam Computer Services, Bhupendra Kumar Modi of Mcorp Global feels that it would take two to three years for reviving Satyam and putting it back on track.

“There are several downsides in Satyam at this point. There are issues with cash flows, the reputation has taken a beating and there are pending cases. So, whoever takes it will have to go through a lot of hard work to revive it,” Modi told DNA Money. According to him, all these issued would be factored in while bidding for Satyam when the process is put to motion.

Modi said he has already started designing a plan to revive Satyam and would put the plan into action once he gets hold of the company.

“We have a better knowledge on keeping Satyam in business. We already operate offices in various places like the US, London, Hong Kong and Singapore. We have enough knowledge to handle all the verticals of Satyam. In fact, we were the first to bring IT services to this country,” he said.

Modi also said that there is the required fund support with him in addition to the proceeds he received by selling off Spice Communications.

“My funds are ready in the bank. There are other resources too that would support my bid,” he said.
