Dhaka denies Islamabad claims on 26/11 attacks

Bangladesh high commissioner in Delhi Liaqat Ali Chowdhury said Islamabad has not forwarded information on the 26/11 probe to Dhaka.

    India has not officially received a communication from Pakistan on the terror dossier forwarded to Islamabad, Union home minister P Chidambaram re-emphasised on Thursday.

    “We will comment once we receive Pakistan’s reply,” a senior home official said.

    There have been selective leaks to the Pakistan media about involvement of groups operating from Bangladesh, like the Harkat-ul-Jihad-al Islami and a network of Muslim fundamentalists spread across the Gulf.
