According to eyewitnesses, after beating up many shop-owners at Garibnagar, the police team reached Kamadar Masjid area and assaulted roadside vendors.
Sources said, when Khan and his mother went to the Rakhiya police station to lodge a complaint, the police refused to register any complaint.
