Satyam truth may not come out due to corrupt persons: Ramdev

Yoga Guru Baba Ramdev on Saturday, said that complete truth in the Satyam fraud might not come out in the open as some corrupt persons don't want it so.

The fraud in Satyam Computers is not good for the Indian Corporate sector, Baba Ramdev told reporters after announcing the schedule for his Yog Science camp here.

"(Abhi Satyam ka Asatyam ho gaya hai, jo ki teekh baat nahi hain Indian Corporate ke liye). Corrupt people in Satyam are responsible for the present crisis," he said.

"Some corrupt politicians, bureaucrats and now corrupt industrialists are destroying the country. Such corrupt persons
will try to prevail over to ensure that the truth may never come out of Satyam," he said.

Baba Ramdev said the full truth out of the Telgi scam had not come out so far and felt that the same could happen with Satyam.

He said secessionist voices were pressing for division of the country by demanding newer states and attributed corruption as the main cause for backwardness of some regions.

Similar voices are being heard in Andhra Pradesh now, he said adding if developmental works are properly carried out in these regions their problems can be resolved easily.

If budget funds from Centre and state governments are honestly utilised for developmental works, how come such regions can remain backward, he asked.

Corruption can be stopped only if corrupt people are ostracised from the society, he said adding "Inko (corrupt people) na vote do aur na note do."
