NAGPUR: The Cricket Board will felicitate Sachin Tendulkar, V V S Laxman and Saurav Ganguly for their contribution to the game on November 6, the first day of the fourth and final Test between India and Australia here.
    
The Test will be held at the new stadium of Vidarbha Cricket Association (VCA) at Jamtha.
    
Former BCCI president and Union Agriculture Minister Sharad Pawar along with BCCI president advocate Shashank Manohar, also the President of VCA, and all top office bearers of Indian cricket board would be present on the occasion, VCA sources said.
    
While batting maestro Tendulkar is being felicitated for overtaking West Indian great Brian Lara to become the highest run-getter in Test cricket, Laxman is to be honoured for joining the elite club of Indian players to have appeared in 100 or more Tests.
    
The Test at Nagpur will be his 100th.
    
Ganguly, who has announced that he is retiring from the game at the end of the series against Australia, would also be felicitated for his final Test appearance, the sources said.
    
The function will be held at 1930 hrs at the Club House of VCA stadium at Jamtha, they added.
