    JAMSHEDPUR: A seven-year-old boy was buried alive and three children sustained injuries when a chunk of soil caved in course of digging at Swarnarekha river near Bhuiyandih here on Sunday.
        
    Golu Kumar, a resident of Bhuiyandih, was killed on the spot after the chunk of soil fell on his head, deputy superintendent of police Madhusudan Bari said.
        
    Golu was immediately rushed to M G M hospital, where doctors declared him dead.
        
    Three others, who were digging soil on the river bank escaped with minor injuries, Bari added.
