Jack of all stunts!

The Hollywood STUNT-DIRECTOr will supervise the action scenes in Ajay Devgan’s toon film

Jack Gill’s name may not ring a bell instantly but this veteran Hollywood stunt director has directed some of the most memorable stunts in English movies including Pearl Harbour, Spiderman, Bad Boys II and Terminator 2.

Jack is currently in India to supervise the action scenes in the Ajay Devgan-Kajol starrer Toonpur Ka Superhero.

Directed by Kireet Khurana, Toonpur Ka Superhero is India’s first feature film that combines live action and 3D animation. Produced by Krishika Lulla and Kumar Mangat, the film’s music is being composed by Anu Malik.

“It is a film that has some big action. Since it also has toons in it, it’s going to be a great experience. I hear this is something new that is being attempted here. I plan to do something cutting-edge. We have brought a lot of new technology along for this film. But I cannot disclose what we will be doing,” Jack says.

He adds, “This is a superhero movie. So, you can imagine that we would be doing a lot of exciting things.” Jack however is in no mood to disclose how much he has been paid for this project. Jack heads one of the world’s elite stunt companies—Stunts

Unlimited. His team has worked in films like Superman, Matrix, Pirates of the Caribbean, Mr and Mrs Smith and many others. Jack has brought with him five more people to work in Toonpur Ka Superhero. 

Ajay and Kajol will play themselves and share the screen with 50 animated characters in the film. It’s said that the film will have animation effects on the lines of the Michael Jordan starrer Space Jam.
