Sixteen Bangladesh nationals arrested

BANGALORE: Sixteen Bangladesh nationals, including four women, have been arrested from the outskirts of the city on charges of illegally staying in the country, police said.
   
One of the arrested had a visa that had expired while the rest could not furnish any documents to prove their legal entry into the country or stay here, Joint Commissioner of Police (Crime) Gopal Hosur said on Saturday.
   
Police also recovered 12 counterfeit notes of Rs 1,000 denomination from the accused.
