Deshmukh is ready to place all the records before the in-session legislature to establish that there was no violation of laid guidelines while allocating the funds to individuals or institutions.
The beneficiaries of the funds are individuals and institutions whose names were recommended by leaders across party lines including Shiv Sena, BJP, Left and NCP clearly stating it was meant in social sectors.
Moreover, the discretionary power’s entrusted with chief minister allows him to extend the help to institutions engaged in social sectors after ascertaining its credibility.
